Achieve is committed to helping students build skills in self-determination which empower a person to engage in goal setting, decision making and to make things happen in their own lives. Special education research has shown that students with disabilities who left school demonstrating self-determination were more than twice as likely than their peers to be employed one year after graduation, and earn significantly more.
